Russian attacks have destroyed Nova Poshta sorting centers near the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv and in the northern city of Sumy, the Ukrainian private postal and courier company announced on Friday. The company stated on the Telegram messaging app that four guided aerial bombs hit its Sumy terminal, also damaging three trucks. In the Kyiv region, an enemy drone destroyed a sorting depot. Nova Poshta confirmed that all of its employees were unharmed and that operations continued. The company's facilities have been frequently targeted since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. An assessment of the consequences of the attack is underway, and Nova Poshta will reportedly compensate customers for the full declared value of damaged shipments.
