
His career in markets started over 20 years ago, on the trading floor, as a runner. It's about as ground level as finance gets, and it taught him how markets actually work before he ever placed a trade himself.
From there he moved into broking and trading, building the experience that took him from the floor into the heart of the market itself.
He went on to become a market maker for ICE and CME, trading futures, options and physical markets. Later he ran his own energy trading desks, working across oil and gas and building a deep, practical understanding of how energy markets move and why.
That two decades of trading, broking and market making sits behind PiQ. Ryan has always had a strong interest in educating traders, breaking down markets and geopolitics in a way people can actually use.
Today his goal is to build tools that empower traders to be the best they can be, and help them navigate a world of financial information that is increasingly noisy, biased and hard to trust.
