Russian e-commerce giant Ozon reported that its logistics complexes in the cities of Ufa and Orenburg were attacked on the night of August 27. The company stated that the Ufa facility sustained minor damage and was closed for inspection, while the Orenburg warehouse had already resumed operations. Ukraine's military had not commented on the attacks as of midday August 27, and The Kyiv Independent could not independently verify the damage. This marks a continuation of Ukrainian strikes targeting Russian e-commerce infrastructure. Previously, Ukraine's Defense Ministry confirmed strikes on Ozon facilities, following a campaign against its main rival, Wildberries. The ministry stated that these systematic strikes on storage centers for dual-use goods aim to hinder the enemy's operations and negatively impact Russia's economy. Ukraine had previously targeted 15 of Wildberries' largest logistics hubs before turning its attention to Ozon.
