Russian e-commerce giant Ozon reported that its logistics complexes in the cities of Ufa and Orenburg were attacked on the night of August 27. The company stated that the Ufa facility sustained minor damage and was closed for inspection, while the Orenburg warehouse had already resumed operations. Ukrainian forces also resumed strikes on Russia's largest online retailer, Wildberries, following several days of strikes on competitor Ozon. A Wildberries logistics hub in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, was struck by Ukrainian forces on August 26, causing a large fire that completely destroyed the facility, according to Governor Yevgeny Pervyshov. Pervyshov reported that two people were injured in the attack, and that Russian air defenses shot down 13 drones while intercepting another three, though three ultimately struck the warehouse. The Kyiv Independent could not verify these reports. Ukraine's last reported strike on Wildberries came on August 16. Ukraine's Defense Ministry confirmed previous strikes on Ozon facilities, stating that these systematic strikes on storage centers for dual-use goods aim to hinder the enemy's operations and negatively impact Russia's economy. Ukraine had previously targeted 15 of Wildberries' largest logistics hubs before turning its attention to Ozon. In addition to the Tambov attack, Ukrainian forces also struck targets in Russian-occupied Luhansk and Crimea on August 26 and 25, respectively.
