A Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Thursday resulted in 10 injuries, including a child and six medical personnel, and significant damage to a high-rise residential building. The city's military administration initially reported one fatality but later corrected this to 10 injured. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed nine injured and stated that the ninth floor of a high-rise residence was damaged, with the fire affecting floors four through nine. Fifteen people were evacuated from the building. Video footage showed a large fireball, and unofficial sources indicated the strike may have been from a jet-powered drone.
