John Leonardi has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association (RPCRA) and the Florida Gulf Coast Multiple Listing Service (FGC MLS). The decision follows a national search that lasted nearly three months and was led by Brexus Solutions. Leonardi's appointment is effective October 26, 2026, and he will take over from Sean O’Brien, who is retiring after nine years in the role.
RPCRA, based in Fort Myers, Florida, is the largest trade association in Southwest Florida with 9,400 members. Its CEO manages both the Realtor association, which focuses on advocacy and member services, and the MLS business, which handles data integrity and technology. Leonardi brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as CEO of Buffalo Niagara Realtors and concurrently led that region's multiple listing service, WNY Real Estate Information Services. He holds the Realtor Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation and is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a lieutenant colonel.
