Flyhomes announced Thursday the appointment of three senior executives to drive the expansion of its buy-before-you-sell platform and strengthen partnerships with mortgage lenders and real estate companies.
Tyler Moynihan, formerly of Zillow, joins as vice president of business development. Nihit Nirmal has been named vice president of product, and Wendy Tieu returns as director of partner enablement. Moynihan, who spent over 11 years at Zillow, will focus on strategic alliances to broaden the reach of Flyhomes' offering.
The buy-before-you-sell platform is designed to assist homeowners in purchasing a new residence prior to selling their existing one, addressing common hurdles such as accessing home equity or securing a new mortgage while still owning their current property. "Homeowners shouldn’t have to put their lives on hold because buying and selling a home is too complicated," said Flyhomes CEO Tushar Garg. "Tyler, Nihit and Wendy will help us bring that work to more partners and unlock demand sitting on the sidelines."
These hires follow a recent collaboration with Figure, which established a financing framework capable of supporting up to $2.4 billion in annual volume for the buy-before-you-sell service. Flyhomes has also revamped its website and launched a Partner Portal to better serve lenders and loan officers, expanding through wholesale and partner channels.
