The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) emerged as the winner of Morocco's legislative election held on Wednesday, securing the most seats in the 395-member parliament. According to official preliminary results announced by the interior minister, PAM obtained 97 seats. Its partners in the outgoing government, the RNI and the Istiqlal Party, followed with 66 and 65 seats respectively. Voting concluded nationwide at 7 p.m., with a final turnout of 38.02%. Early claims from various parties regarding their performance in strongholds were circulating before the official results were compiled.
