Vietnam's soybean crushers have initiated the expansion of their processing capabilities by launching new production lines. This strategic move is anticipated to drive an increase in soybean imports to satisfy growing domestic demand, consequently boosting the production of soybean meal within the country. Projections indicate that imports of soybean meal will remain stable during the 2025/26 and 2026/27 marketing years. The report also noted unrelated agricultural updates concerning sugar production in the Philippines and U.S. rice imports to the Dominican Republic.
