Ukraine's General Staff announced on September 7, 2026, that overnight drone strikes targeted a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal in Russian-occupied Crimea, near the village of Vladyslavivka, which hosts a key railway junction. The General Staff stated that Russia utilizes this railway line for its military logistics. In addition to the railway bridge, other targets reportedly struck across Russian-occupied territories included Russian command posts in Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, an ammunition depot in Luhansk Oblast, and an automated reconnaissance system in Crimea. Ukraine's military intelligence (HUR) separately claimed that one of its units successfully struck a Russian aircraft in occupied Crimea, though the type of aircraft was not identified.
