Serhant. has expanded its national reach by launching Serhant. Illinois, marking its entry into the Chicago real estate market. The new operation, which began Tuesday, includes more than 40 agents and brings over $600 million in trailing 12-month sales volume, according to the company.
Agents joining Serhant. Illinois come from various established Chicago-area firms, with expectations of further recruitment in the coming weeks and months. Ryan Serhant, founder and CEO of Serhant., highlighted the firm's technology and AI-driven S.MPLE platform as key attractions for agents seeking to adapt to modern buyer and seller behaviors.
Founded in 2020, Serhant. has been expanding beyond its New York origins since 2023. The firm now operates in 20 markets with approximately 2,500 agents. This Chicago expansion follows similar entries into Massachusetts, Texas, California, and Colorado in 2026.
Dina Lissner will serve as the managing director for Serhant. Illinois. Lissner previously spent five years as designated managing broker of Baird & Warner’s Highland Park office and was recognized as 2024 Managing Broker of the Year by the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors. She also has four years of experience as an agent.
Among the founding agents are RealTrends Verified agents Melissa Siegal, who joins from @properties Christie’s International Real Estate with nearly two decades of experience and over $650 million in career sales, and Jennifer Mills-Klatt, who leads the Home Discovery Team from Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty with over $1 billion in career sales. RealTrends Verified agents Bobby Grilli and Brendan Murphy, co-leads of the Grilli Murphy Group, also joined from Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, bringing significant sales experience and volume.
