Olam Agri adds solar power for Ghana facilities

The installation is specifically engineered for the energy demands of an industrial agro-processing operation, aiming to enhance energy reliability and reduce operational costs. By decreasing dependence on grid power and fossil-fuel generation, the system is projected to deliver significant reductions in both energy expenses and carbon emissions over its lifespan.

Daystar Power will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and regulatory approvals through to construction, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance. Construction has not yet commenced.

This initiative aligns with Ghana's industrial sector's need for reliable and cost-effective energy solutions.
