MSC Mediterranean Shipping Co., the world's largest container shipping company, has suspended new bookings to and from Russia's Black Sea port of Novorossiysk following a drone attack on one of its vessels. The suspension was implemented immediately after the attack on the MSC ULSAN III as it was en route to Novorossiysk.
MSC operates a fleet with a total capacity of 7 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU). The company stated it is monitoring security conditions and has directed customers to its Russian office for alternative arrangements while the Novorossiysk service remains suspended.
