Latvia's Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs' centrist United List is projected to win Saturday's parliamentary election, according to an exit poll. However, the party will need to form a coalition with other parties to remain in power.
Security concerns and the cost of living have been dominant issues in the election campaign for the NATO and European Union member state, which shares a border with Russia and has a significant Russian-speaking minority.
According to a final SKDS poll conducted between September 4 and 16, 2026, the United List held 14.4% support among decided voters. The poll also indicated that 18.7% of respondents were still undecided, and 14.9% stated they would not vote, leaving the distribution of seats in the 100-member Saeima uncertain. Other parties projected to enter parliament include Sovereign Power/Young Latvians Alliance (9.4%), Latvia First (9.2%), The Progressives (6.2%), the National Alliance (5.6%), New Unity (4.3%), and the Greens and Farmers’ Union.
Early voting took place from September 28 to October 2 at Latvia's 933 polling stations.
