The total value of outbound shipments reached $98.26 billion, primarily driven by robust global technology demand, particularly in chip shipments. Imports also saw a significant increase of 22.5%, reaching $63.51 billion. This combination of strong exports and rising imports resulted in a preliminary trade surplus of $34.75 billion for the month. Adjusting for working days, exports grew even faster at 72.5% on average per working day.
