Several people were injured on Friday in a sword attack at Brinell School in Fagersta, central Sweden. The Fagersta municipality confirmed the incident, stating that the perpetrator entered the school with a sword and injured multiple individuals. The police responded to the scene and have taken the perpetrator into custody. As a precautionary measure, several schools in the Fagersta area, including Brinellskolan, Olympen, Fagerstahallen, Risbroskolan, Skogsgläntan, Björksta, Prästkragen, and Norrbybacken, were placed under lockdown.
