A Russian drone strike in the town of Bohodukhiv, west of Ukraine's second-largest city Kharkiv, killed a father and his three young children late on Tuesday. The victims were identified as two twin boys aged two, their one-year-old sister, and their 34-year-old father. The children's pregnant mother was the sole survivor and was treated for injuries and minor burns.
According to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov, the family had recently moved to Bohodukhiv to escape constant shelling, and it was their first night in the house. The strike completely destroyed the residential building, trapping the family under the rubble.

Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces launched a series of overnight strikes across the Kharkiv region, killing three civilians in Chuhuiv and injuring at least 15 others in Kharkiv city, including three children. Damage was reported to several apartment buildings and private homes.
