Samsung HW-Q990F soundbar review: Still the best Dolby Atmos system

The Samsung HW-Q990F soundbar, released in 2025, continues to be recommended as an excellent home theater system. It provides a comprehensive audio solution with a soundbar, wireless subwoofer, and two wireless rear speakers, delivering an impressive 11.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos experience. The setup process is straightforward, with wireless connectivity options for compatible Samsung TVs and standard HDMI eARC or optical ports for other televisions. The soundbar also features two HDMI 2.1 passthrough ports capable of handling 4K/120Hz signals, making it suitable for high-end gaming consoles. While Samsung has released a newer model, the Q990H, the Q990F is considered the better purchase if it can be found at a lower price, offering similar performance and features.
