REMAX has expanded its network with the addition of a new affiliate brokerage in Missoula, Montana, named REMAX Confluence. The new office is led by broker-owner DJ Smith, who is returning to the REMAX brand where he began his real estate career in 2014.
REMAX Confluence is launching with an initial team of nine agents and will serve five counties in the Missoula area. The company has stated plans to recruit additional agents to grow its presence.
Smith, who has held leadership roles in local and state Realtor associations, including serving as president of the Montana Association of Realtors in 2024, emphasized the importance of culture and mutual support in building the new brokerage. He cited REMAX's adaptability and support for entrepreneurs as key factors in his decision to re-affiliate with the brand.
The addition of REMAX Confluence comes shortly after The Real Brokerage completed its acquisition of REMAX, creating the Real REMAX Group.
