Jason Finch named president of Fischer Homes

Kentucky-based Fischer Homes announced Wednesday that it has appointed veteran executive Jason Finch as its new president. This leadership change separates the president and chief operating officer positions, a move the company states is intended to align leadership with its expansion plans. Jay Smith will continue in his role as chief operating officer, a position he has held since 2023.

In his new capacity as president, Finch will be responsible for executing the company's homebuilding strategy across its operational footprint. Finch joined Fischer Homes in 2013 and has held various positions in sales, division operations, and regional leadership. His most recent role was region president for the South Region, where he focused on performance improvement, leadership development, and operational consistency.

Tim McMahon, CEO of The Fischer Group, expressed confidence in Finch's abilities, stating, "Jason has consistently demonstrated the leadership, business judgment and ability to develop strong teams that this role requires." McMahon added that Finch "understands how to turn strategy into results while keeping people at the center of the business" and is the "right leader to guide Fischer Homes through its next phase of growth."

Fischer Homes operates in 11 markets across 7 states and has built more than 40,000 new homes since its founding in 1980. The company aims for the new structure to drive greater alignment, operational consistency, and long-term growth.
