The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) has appointed Cameron Kinzer as its director of advocacy, a newly created position aimed at bolstering the organization's government relations and public policy efforts. The move comes as multiple listing services (MLSs) face increasing scrutiny from legislators, regulators, and legal bodies.
In his new capacity, Kinzer will spearhead CMLS's advocacy strategy, engaging with lawmakers, regulators, and industry partners across the country. He will collaborate with CMLS CEO Jessica Edgerton, the board of directors, and CMLS members to monitor policy developments and address issues impacting MLSs at all governmental levels.
