The transaction is part of a larger arrangement agreement announced in late April and amended in June. Shareholders from both Real Brokerage and REMAX Holdings gave their approval for the combination at separate meetings held on August 14, 2026.
Regulatory hurdles have been cleared, with the Department of Justice granting an early termination of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act waiting period in mid-July. This act requires notification to the DOJ and FTC for large mergers to allow for competitive harm review.
