The deal marks one of the firm's largest public M&A roles in the city. Lead corporate partners Dan Schuster-Woldan and Matthew Hearn are handling the transaction for Paul Weiss.
Separately, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher announced the hiring of a three-partner mass torts and products liability team from Paul Weiss. The team includes partner Kimberly Branscome, who will now co-chair Gibson Dunn's mass torts and products liability practice in Los Angeles. Gibson Dunn stated that Branscome's first-chair trial experience complements their existing work in legal and appellate strategy for major products liability cases.
