Investment bank Raymond James has hired several senior managing directors from Jefferies' consumer and retail investment banking unit, according to sources familiar with the matter. The new hires include Drew Weisman from the leveraged finance team, and Steve Tricarico, Russ Shoemaker, and Hub Orr from the consumer and retail investment banking team.
St. Petersburg, Florida-based Raymond James acquired consumer-focused boutique bank Financo in 2021. The addition of Tricarico, Shoemaker, and Orr is expected to expand Raymond James' consumer and retail team, while Weisman will strengthen the bank's leveraged finance practice.
