New American Funding (NAF) has appointed Stacy Chevalier as its Northwest regional vice president, effective September 1. In her new role, Chevalier will be responsible for overseeing growth and sales strategy across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. She joined NAF in January as an area manager.
Chevalier brings more than 26 years of experience in mortgage banking, sales, and leadership to the position, with a background in retail mortgage banking, builder business, recruiting, production, and market expansion. She has previously built and led mortgage teams in the Pacific Northwest and other markets. Her focus will be on building teams and branches, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting mortgage professionals in growing their businesses.
Tony Blodgett, executive vice president of national retail sales for the West region at NAF, stated that Chevalier's leadership style aligns with the company's culture and that her local market knowledge will be beneficial for the region. This appointment follows recent job cuts at NAF, where 160 positions were eliminated in the consumer direct division due to current mortgage market conditions.
