They offer audio-only functionality, allowing users to listen to music, take calls, translate speech, and interact with Meta's AI assistant, Muse. The absence of cameras contributes to a lighter design, weighing 43 grams, compared to previous camera-equipped models. Meta claims a battery life of up to 12 hours on a single charge, extendable to 48 hours with the included charging case. The glasses will be available in 23 color and lens combinations across two new styles, "Clubmaster" and "Burbank," and can be ordered with optical prescriptions. Preorders begin on October 13. Meta also announced next-generation camera-equipped Ray-Ban Meta glasses with updated features and new styles, as well as expanded partnerships and global rollout for its AI glasses lineup.
