Malaysia and China have established a new technology transfer center to enhance bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors. The initiative, launched on June 23 in Kuala Lumpur during the China (Chongqing)–Malaysia Belt and Road Science and Technology Cooperation Exchange Conference, aims to deepen cross-border collaboration and commercialization of technologies.
The conference brought together government, academic, and innovation leaders from both countries to explore ways to leverage Chongqing's position as a regional innovation hub and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
