The University of Hong Kong (HKU) maintained its 11th position globally, while the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) climbed 14 spots to 18th, marking the first time two Hong Kong universities have ranked in the global top 20. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) advanced 11 positions to 33rd, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) entered the world's top 50 for the first time, ranking 50th. City University of Hong Kong was ranked 52nd. The Education Bureau stated that these rankings validate Hong Kong's appeal as a premier hub for international high-end talent and affirm the effectiveness of government investment in education.
