Kevin Christopher has joined Chicago-based Key Mortgage as senior vice president of mortgage production, the company announced Friday. Christopher brings 34 years of financial services experience, including mortgage lending and sales leadership, to the independent lender. Most recently, he served as managing director of mortgage sales for the central division at JPMorgan Chase, where he oversaw retail mortgage sales across 17 states. His previous leadership roles include positions at BMO Harris, U.S. Bank, Prism Mortgage and Baird & Warner Financial Services, a division of Key Mortgage’s parent company that later became Key Mortgage Services. Christopher is returning to the Baird & Warner family of services with a focus on expanding Key Mortgage’s footprint and supporting growth among its loan officers. He stated that Key Mortgage’s integrated model, which combines real estate, mortgage, title and insurance services, was a key factor in his decision to return. Key Mortgage President Ralph Melbourne said Christopher’s experience will support the company’s growth strategy.
