Disney has raised the monthly subscription prices for its ad-free Disney+ and Hulu services, continuing a trend of increasing costs across the streaming industry. The ad-free bundle now costs $21.99 per month, up from $19.99, while standalone ad-free plans for each service have risen to $21.49 per month from $18.99. The price for the ad-supported bundle of Hulu and Disney+ remains unchanged at $12.99 per month, but standalone ad-supported plans for each service will now cost $12.49 per month. These adjustments align with a broader industry pattern, as companies like Peacock, Netflix, and Apple TV have also recently increased their subscription fees. Disney+ originally launched in 2019 with a basic monthly subscription of $6.99. Hulu’s most recent price hikes occurred in October 2025, October 2024, October 2023, and October 2022. It launched in 2008. Today’s price hikes follow Disney increasing the price for both tiers of its ESPN streaming service on September 17.
