Daniel Dennis has been appointed the new president and CEO of Long & Foster Companies, a move announced on Monday. He succeeds Patrick Bain, who is stepping down after a 16-year tenure with the company, including the last three and a half years in the top leadership role. Bain had previously disclosed his intention to depart earlier this year, allowing for a structured transition.
Dennis brings extensive experience from the real estate industry, most recently serving as senior vice president of sales and service at REMAX. In that role, he worked with brokerage leaders nationwide and managed teams focused on recruitment, brokerage support, and expansion. Prior to REMAX, Dennis spent over a decade leading Roberts Brothers, a brokerage within the HomeServices of America network in Alabama, and also served as president of Illustrated Properties in South Florida.
