Rocket Mortgage has named Nicole Beattie as its new chief servicing officer, a move announced via a social media post from president and CEO Jay Bray. Beattie will be responsible for the company's servicing operations, which manage a portfolio valued at $2 trillion in unpaid principal balance and encompass 9.1 million loans as of June 30. This expansion follows Rocket Mortgage's acquisition of Mr. Cooper Group.
In her capacity as chief servicing officer, Beattie will lead teams responsible for monthly payments, escrow, taxes, insurance, and loss mitigation. She has a long history with Rocket Mortgage, having started 22 years ago as a mortgage banker and subsequently leading its servicing and closing departments. Her most recent role was CEO of Rocket Close, a provider of title insurance, property valuation, and settlement services. Bray noted Beattie's return to the servicing business with a "broader view of the business" at a critical time for the company's clients.
A Rocket spokesperson highlighted Beattie's "two decades of experience delivering results across every phase of homeownership" and stated that her leadership is essential for the company, which is now the largest mortgage servicer in America. Additionally, Jared Bourcier is transitioning from the finance division to become an executive vice president within the servicing business, where he will manage subservicing, specialty servicing, master servicing, and business operations.
