With automated systems, Singapore Cruise Centre can handle up to 18,000 departing passengers daily

The new Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront has officially opened and can now handle up to 18,000 departing passengers daily. Instead of navigating different floors, travellers now find all ferry operators and check-in counters on the same level, with more of their journey automated. Singapore is Southeast Asia's leading cruise hub. The country handled more than two million cruise passenger movements in 2025. And in 2024, it accounted for nearly half of all cruise passenger visits in the region. Beatrice Yap reports.
