UN General Assembly: Trump to meet Japan's Takaichi on sidelines ahead of Xi summit

On the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, US President Donald Trump is set to meet other leaders and representatives, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, British Premier Andy Burnham and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. Tokyo will be hoping to underscore its concerns on Taiwan, security and trade before Mr Trump heads back to Washington for a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
