Singapore police looking into racist comments about Nepal-Tibet disaster, Air India

Police are looking into racist comments posted online following the deadly Nepal floods and discussions over Singapore Airlines' investment in Air India. The Digital Development and Information Ministry will also ask social media platforms to remove comments that breach their guidelines. Coordinating Minister for National Security K Shanmugam said such remarks are becoming more frequent, particularly those targeting Indians. He added that politicians should not interfere in SIA's investment decisions, which should be left to its management and board. He said SIA is a listed company accountable to its shareholders.
