Vitality ends T20 Blast sponsorship

Vitality has decided not to renew its title sponsorship of the T20 Blast, England and Wales' premier domestic Twenty20 cricket competition. The decision signifies a reduction in the financial services company's commitment to English cricket.

The Vitality Blast, which first launched in 2003, is the world's longest-running domestic T20 league. The competition features the 18 first-class counties playing 20-over matches during the summer. For the 2026 season, the men's competition will be divided into North, Central and West, and South Groups, with teams playing 12 group stage matches. Points are awarded for wins (2 points), ties/no results (1 point each), and losses (0 points). The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to an eight-team knockout bracket, culminating in Finals Day.
