Tibet mudslide causes casualties, disrupts China-Nepal border crossing

Access roads, telecommunications, and power supplies on the Chinese side of the port were severed by the mudslide. Emergency response teams have been mobilized to the affected area, and search and rescue operations are ongoing. President Xi Jinping has urged "all-out" efforts for the search for the missing and called for enhanced monitoring and early warning systems to prevent further secondary disasters.
