Digital garage platform Regit has announced a partnership with City AM to produce the publication’s motoring content and integrate digital ownership features. This arrangement is designed to place automotive brands directly in front of City AM's senior corporate audience, which comprises 2.5 million monthly readers, with 65 percent holding chief executive and senior executive positions.
Regit operates a digital garage platform that assists vehicle owners in tracking records, scheduling maintenance, and completing sales transactions online. The company, originally founded in 2007 as Motoring.co.uk, collects first-party data throughout the vehicle ownership lifecycle to offer commercial data solutions to vehicle manufacturers.
The integration will provide City AM readers with vehicle valuation services, alongside checks for emissions zones, vehicle taxation, and roadworthiness testing. Commercial partners will have access to display advertising, promotional editorial, print media, and targeted email campaigns. The agreement also includes direct commercial pipeline support through vehicle test-drive requests and brochure distribution.
Regit's platform has over 4 million drivers, with an addition of 50,000 users monthly. The system tracks more than 300 unique data points per vehicle to gauge buyer timing and interest in specific models, enabling manufacturers to target prospective buyers. This joint venture offers an exclusive market route for car makers launching new production models.
Chris Ashton-Green, Founder and CEO of Regit, stated that the partnership provides access to an audience with significant purchasing power, offering an attractive market route for manufacturers. Rupert Hargreaves, COO at City AM, expressed enthusiasm for elevating motoring coverage by integrating Regit's digital tools and data with their engaged audience.
