Pinterest's Chief Financial Officer, Julia Donnelly, is set to step down from her role on October 30. The image-sharing platform has commenced an external search to find a replacement for its finance chief. Vikram Naidu, who currently serves as the vice president of finance and business operations, will assume the responsibilities of principal financial officer on an interim basis.
During Donnelly's tenure, Pinterest achieved 11 consecutive quarters of double-digit revenue growth, enhanced operating rigor, and expanded margins. CEO Bill Ready acknowledged her contributions in a memo to employees, highlighting her role in ensuring the company's ongoing health. Donnelly joined Pinterest in 2023, having previously been the global head of finance at online furniture retailer Wayfair.
Her time at Pinterest also saw the completion of the acquisition of connected-TV advertising platform tvScientific and a significant $4 billion partnership for cloud services with Amazon Web Services. Earlier this month, the company projected slower revenue growth for the third quarter, citing intense competition in the digital advertising space from major players like Meta's Instagram.
