JPMorgan Chase has appointed investment banker Ward Jones as the new head of its Mid-Cap Basic Materials Investment Banking division, according to an internal memo. Jones will be based in New York and will focus on companies within the building products, building products distribution, and paper and packaging sectors.
He will report to Joe DeBarbrie and Dave Khalsa, who serve as co-heads of mid-cap diversified industries investment banking at JPMorgan Chase.
Prior to joining JPMorgan, Jones held the position of head of building products investment banking for the Americas at Deutsche Bank. His earlier career included investment banking roles at Credit Suisse and Citigroup.
