The tool leverages Pinterest's visual intelligence and generative AI technology, known as Pinterest Intelligence, to help users articulate their desired looks to stylists and nail artists.
The "Beauty Guides" aim to bridge the gap between a user's visual inspiration and the technical language used by beauty professionals, translating terms like "balayage" or "almond nails." This feature is designed to assist users in planning their salon visits by providing information on the estimated time and cost of services, as well as ongoing maintenance requirements.
Users can access these guides by tapping a "Get the Guide" button within the app. At its launch, the feature will focus on Pins related to hairstyles, hair color, nail shape, and finishes.
