Travis sold Outkick to Fox News Media in 2021. He stated that the site had achieved its goal of becoming an influential digital platform and is now in a strong position to grow further within the Fox News Digital ecosystem. Fox News Media claims that May 2026 was Outkick's most successful month on record in terms of unique devices and pageviews.
Despite stepping away from Outkick, Travis will remain part of Fox News Media under a new agreement as a contributor. He will also continue to host 'OutKick the Show' on FS1 and co-host 'The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show' on radio. Fox News Media president Jay Wallace praised Travis's contributions, stating he was an integral voice and leader for Outkick.
