NTT Data and Palo Alto Networks have formed a global strategic alliance to accelerate the secure adoption of AI for enterprise cybersecurity. The partnership aims to combine AI-powered security platforms with consulting and managed services, targeting $1 billion in joint business by 2029.
This alliance signifies a significant push by major players in IT services and cybersecurity to address the growing complexities and risks associated with enterprise AI adoption, aiming to provide integrated solutions for secure AI transformation.
NTT Data Group and Palo Alto Networks have announced a multi-year global strategic alliance aimed at helping organizations securely adopt artificial intelligence and modernize their cybersecurity defenses. The partnership, which targets $1 billion in joint business by the end of 2029, combines Palo Alto Networks' AI-powered cybersecurity platforms with NTT Data's extensive consulting, engineering, and managed services.
This alliance, described as the first of its kind between Palo Alto Networks and a global systems integrator, will leverage joint engineering, co-innovation, and coordinated global delivery. The goal is to help clients assess cyber risks, deploy AI securely, and continuously optimize their security posture. Through direct engineering collaboration, NTT Data will gain early access to new platform features, enabling faster delivery of AI security services.
Initial solutions will focus on critical cybersecurity challenges in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and the public sector. Key areas include Autonomous Security Operations Centers (SOC) using Agentic AI, AI governance for managing AI risks, Identity security for human, machine, and AI agent identities, Zero Trust and SASE architectures, resilient cloud environments, and firewall modernization.
Nikesh Arora, Chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks, stated that the expanded alliance allows for operationalizing platformization at a global scale, enabling enterprises to eliminate legacy complexity and accelerate innovation safely. Abhijit Dubey, CEO and Chief AI Officer at NTT DATA Inc., highlighted the need for AI-driven security resilience due to the rapid evolution of the threat landscape.
