The head of the Metropolitan Police's volunteer force, Special Chief Officer James Deller, has been dismissed after an accelerated misconduct hearing found he used his work phone to capture sexual images. The incidents occurred on two occasions in July and August 2025, when Deller photographed sexual images sent to his personal device via WhatsApp's 'View Once' function, then sent them from his work phone to his personal phone before deleting them.
