New Jersey-based technology firm Indecomm announced this week that it’s in the early stages of launching AuditGenius ai, a new iteration of its mortgage quality control platform. The company is positioning the tool as a way for lenders to get consistent, traceable QC findings from AI-driven reviews. Indecomm will be previewing the tool at the Mortgage Bankers Association Annual Convention & Expo in Chicago.
The company explained that AuditGenius ai is designed to answer every question on a QC checklist before an auditor opens the file, attaching a severity level and a supporting page citation to each finding. Instead of having AI read the file “on the spot” during the review — a common approach that can produce different answers on different runs — Indecomm said it uses AI earlier in the process to draft audit logic that is vetted before it is deployed.
According to Indecomm, each QC checklist question in AuditGenius ai is tied to the relevant agency, investor and lender guidelines, and to the specific loan data elements that answer it. Indecomm’s mortgage QC specialists review and approve the logic before it goes into the platform, then review it again when guidelines or logic change. At the time of audit, the platform runs the preapproved logic for every loan, and the same loan is intended to produce the same outcome each time.
