The Garmin CIRQA represents the brand's entry into the screenless wearable market, aiming to provide continuous health and activity tracking without the distractions of a display. As a product reviewer with experience in fitness technology, the author notes that Garmin's core tracking capabilities, including GPS and heart rate monitoring, are reliable, and the Garmin Connect app offers extensive data without a subscription. The CIRQA promises up to 10 days of battery life and tracks various metrics such as heart rate, stress, skin temperature, Pulse Ox, Body Battery, sleep stages, HRV, and respiration. It also supports over 80 activities and includes advanced training metrics like VO2 max and training readiness. However, the reviewer found that the CIRQA's bulky sensor housing, which sits half an inch above the wrist and weighs 0.75 ounces, makes it difficult to achieve a comfortable fit, even after four weeks of continuous use. The hook-and-loop velcro system sometimes resulted in indents on the skin. The author concludes that the device's physical design falls short of the discreetness expected from a screenless tracker, and its higher price point compared to competitors like the Fitbit Air makes it less appealing, especially without the benefit of real-time data on the wrist.
