EverPass, established in 2023 by 32 Equity and RedBird Capital Partners, possesses the exclusive rights to distribute NFL Sunday Ticket to commercial establishments such as bars and restaurants. As part of the acquisition, RedBird Capital Partners, 32 Equity (the NFL's investment arm), and TKO Group Holdings will acquire minority stakes in DAZN.
Alex Kaplan, the current CEO of EverPass, will continue to head the business, which will be rebranded as DAZN for Business. Beyond NFL Sunday Ticket, EverPass also handles programming distribution for leagues including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NWSL, and NASCAR, in addition to partnerships with streaming platforms like Peacock, Netflix, Paramount, and Apple.
Last month, EverPass collaborated with DIRECTV to jointly distribute NFL Sunday Ticket to commercial venues via satellite and streaming. DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev highlighted that the acquisition provides DAZN with a "proven commercial distribution platform, deep relationships across U.S. venues, and an attractive portfolio of premium rights."
