Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL), a leading battery manufacturer, has entered into an agreement to license its battery pack technology to Battery Manufacturing in Egypt (BME). Announced on Wednesday, the deal will enable BME to establish a local manufacturing base in Egypt. In addition to technology licensing, CATL will supply production equipment and training services to BME. This marks CATL's first technology licensing project specifically for battery packs.
