Car rams pedestrians in France, killing 1 and injuring 10

A car deliberately drove into a group of pedestrians in Caen, France, on Wednesday evening, killing one person and injuring 10 others. The incident occurred in front of the city's train station.

Local authorities reported that one person died, seven were in critical condition, and three were seriously injured but not critical. The driver, a 26-year-old man born in Russia, was later arrested. He was known to police for traffic offenses but not to intelligence services.
