Bunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited, has announced several leadership changes. George Allard has been appointed vice president and chief financial officer, succeeding Todd Bastean, who was promoted to chief executive officer for Bunge North America effective June 1, 2013. Allard joined Bunge in 2004 and has held various roles, including treasurer, chief financial officer for Canadian and Latin American operations, and most recently, vice president and general manager of North America's oils business. Todd Bastean stated that Allard's experience leading key business units and his financial background make him well-suited for the CFO role. Additionally, Matt Gibson has joined Bunge North America as vice president and general manager of its grain operations. Gibson previously served as regional vice president of Gavilon's northern grain group and brings over 18 years of industry experience in trading and operational management. Bastean expressed pleasure in Gibson joining the team, highlighting his successful track record.
