BREAKING: Albanese backtracks on the sale of Victoria Barracks

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced that the Victoria Barracks sale will not go ahead and assured the public that the site will be maintained and enhanced going into the future. “Today I can announce that Victoria Barracks will be free for all Sydneysiders to enjoy, and it will remain in public hands,” Mr Albanese said. “This will give an assurance to the public that the heritage at this site is vital, that it be not just maintained but indeed enhanced.”
